What is CourseTalk?
CourseTalk is a place for students to share their experiences with MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) and discover new courses they'll love. We list the amazing free college-level courses listed on platforms such as Udacity, Coursera, and edX.
A Vision for Higher Ed
While CourseTalk is not educating directly we do support the broader effort by many to transform education for the better using internet technologies. Here's what we support and think is possible:
- Making a world class education available to anyone anywhere for free.
- Using data analysis and course iteration to create a future where we can all learn faster, learn smarter, and have more fun while doing it.
- To create viable alternatives to a four year college degree and thereby open the door to innovations in credentialing, job preparation, and job matching.
